| They put together a team of expert ice sculptors in an effort to set two ice sculpting world records in conjunction with the 2011 BP World Ice Art Championships in Fairbanks, Alaska. They planned to break the existing world record for the longest ice bar and set a new record for the world’s largest ice luge (drink luge). Have no idea what we’re talking about |
- The Ice Bar will be over 200 feet in length and the Ice Luge will be approximately 20 feet high. They will be created from a minimum of 13 blocks of "arctic diamond" ice that are approximately 4’ by 4’ by 5’ in dimension and each weigh approx. 3000 pounds.
- From February 28th to March 5th, We will be building these Record Breaking Sculptures and upon successful completion will be entered into the Guinness Book of World Records!
- This entire event will be broadcast Live VIA Webcast and by webcams on site at Ice Alaska. This also more than likely will be broadcast on Television at a later date and A Book will also be published covering this entire event. All of our sponsor proceeds after expenses will be donated to Ice Alaska, (501C3).
