2012 Theme: Dreams Come True

The theme this year was suggested by Ice Alaska Board Member, Cam Carlson, who put into words how excited we are about the new Ice Park site which is now the permanent new home for the BP World Ice Art Championships.

Congratulations and thank you to Fairbanks, Alaska artist, Brianna Ragan, who
submitted the winning design to the 2012 World Ice Art Championships

Every year since 1992, Ice Alaska has produced a souvenir pin for the Ice Art Event. From 1992 - 2004, ice sculptor, Anita Tabor and Fred Freer designed our pins. In 2005, the pin design became a contest open to anyone interested in submitting a design. We have been very pleased with the designs submitted and always get a winner.
