The First Annual Junior World Ice Art Championships has come together through the generousity of Fairbanks Youth Sports. This year, five 1 or 2 person teams of 9th - 12th grade students competed . The teams submit a drawing and/ or clay model to Ice Alaska for acceptance into the competition. Contestants received one ice block, 3’ x 5’x 4.'
Ice Alaska is proud to have these young artists competing at Ice Park and hopes this is just the beginning of training our youth as our future single and multi-block winners..
